Driving for Efficiency

Commercial Ev Installation & Maintenance Services

The country is undergoing a transport revolution, with environmental concerns now being front and centre of government policy.  With no new petrol and diesel cars and vans to be sold in the UK after 2030, and with hybrid sales banned from 2035, there is now more momentum than ever around getting drivers into cleaner vehicles.

There are now estimated to be 462,050 Electric vehicles on the road in the UK and a further 384,458 Hybrid vehicles (RAC 2022).

Employers have a huge role to play in encouraging the uptake of electric vehicles and recent research demonstrates that the availability of workplace charging makes drivers six times more likely to move to an electric vehicle.

Here at the Fone Alarm Group we specialise in electric vehicle charger installations for both electric and hybrid vehicles and can help you get ‘Fully Charged For The Journey Ahead’ with our commercial installation and maintenance service.

Reasons to Provide Ev Charging Facilities:

As the implications of climate change have become recognised and with transport currently considered to be the UK’s most polluting sector (representing over a third of its CO2 emissions) the use of petrol/diesel is becoming increasingly unsustainable.  Couple this with the recognition that the creation of exhaust fumes in cities has led to a hidden public health crisis costing in the region of £6bn a year, the necessity to move away from fossil fuels becomes increasingly clear.

Installing EV chargepoints at the workplace is not only a powerful carbon reduction initiative but also sends a poweful message to your staff and customers that you consider their; personal health and well being and the environment to be of importance.
